1. What is the best thing about living where you do?
-I think that the best thing about where I live would be that you don’t have to leave out town. There is a lot in our town. We have movie theaters, grocery stores, and restaurants. In our town we have a verity of different stores and place to go. I would think the only reason to leave would be to see family and go on vacation.
2. Tell us why your school is unique?
- One would have to be the kinds of teachers. We have teachers that are funny, teachers that are boring, and teachers that are old fashion. By old fashion I mean that don’t really talk to the students. For example they pass out text books tell you to read them and write a summary. I would have to say that this year I enjoy each one of my teachers.
An assignment that a teacher could give while absent is basically anything in today’s world. You could give a book report for example, on the Internet you can find every word to any book. all you would have to do is type a report on your blog and the teacher could check and grade it from the comfort of their own home. By reading he report you could tell whether or not the student read the book or not, and see would they got out of the book. Each student would have his/her own blog to type in when needed. The design of the assignment would show that students could they could do what they do in school at home in front of a computer. For this type of class you could have just one large video or voice chat and it would be just like being in the classroom. I think that a virtual classroom would be really cool
When I go to high school I would want to accomplish my goals. One of my goals would be to keep at least a “B” average in all my classes. I think that high school could be fun for me if I stay on top of work and stay organized. If not I think high school will be the hardest four years of my life so far. Another one of my goals is to make all the sport teams I go out for. I hope I have a good time in high school and do well academically.
We don’t have school on Monday because, it is a day to sit and reflect on what Martin Luther King Jr. did to change our country. Schools would close because we know that King Jr. would die to make everyone in our country equal. He said “A man who won’t die for something is not fit to live.” I think that means that if you believe in something enough and think that it should happen that you will do anything to make it come true. The point of celebrating his birthday to be able to know what he did in his life and how the United States would be horrible if he did not do what he did. I think that we should not go to school because it is a time to be with your family and know that your life could be terrible if Martin Luther King Jr. did not do what he did.
I think that the main point of the first video was to think outside of the box. That if you don’t take a risk that you won’t have a chance at success. The young girl in the video had to write a paper for her class. she was saying what she thinks the future will be like. Everything that she said was true, for example she said that we will have phones that are so small they can fit in our pocket. Today we have cell phones. Everyone thought that she was crazy and that none of those thing are going to come true. She was made fun of and had to go to the principal and a scariest. The person that made this video is trying to tell you that you shouldn’t stop believing something because someone told you that your are wrong, but that you should keep believing something that you think can become true or something that is possible.

I think excluding parent the person in my life that influenced me the most would be my aunt because she is always there when I need her. I can talk to her about nothing and she’ll make me laugh. Whenever I pick up the phone and it’s her she always says something funny to make me laugh. She always tells me to be my own person and not to follow others. I also respect her very much and I agree with her decision’s . She influences me to do good things and embarrassing things. For example we were ate my cousins First Holy Communion party and she influenced me to sing karaoke and make a fool out of my self. I do have to admit it was very funny. I guess my aunt doesn’t make me feel like I’m talking to a family member but a friend.
I wonder how the world would be without teachers. For example if every teacher one day just decided to quit. Also the students in collage changed their major and minor to have nothing to do with educating. The world would be soooo different. People would not know what to do in a few generations. People that are now in school and who have been in school know probably just enough to get through life not successfully but get through it.We would end up like cave men. Think about if teachers to show people how to build houses, apartment or buildings then we wouldn’t have anything to live in. Or if farmers did learn how to manage a farm and know how to care for animals we would not have food. But what if that did happen wouldn’t that cycle start all over. Like cavemen learner about fire and then learn how to make fire and soon become like people now that are very very smart. The world would not be the same.
On this day is Maurice Taylor’s birthday. Maurice Taylor is a a forward in the NBA for the Sacramento Kings. He was born on October 30, 1976. Him playing in the NBA has supplied many fans with enjoyment going to his games. He averaged 17 points per game and 6.5 rebounds. After college him and several other Michigan stars were accused of taking money from booster Ed Martin. I found this information at wikipedia.
I was thinking of a company to send this e-mail to and I wanted to send it to the Boston Red Sox. Here’s what I wrote to them and here’s their response.
My teacher told us to contact a company and try to make them do something. I’m a huge Red Sox fan so I had to choose you. Well I just started thinking of this, this year. I think that you should make Tim Wakefield a reliever. A lot of teams have hit very well off him and well in my opinion when he gets the start I don’t feel as confident as if Beckett had the start. Just think of this lets say Beckett is starting and is throw very hard if you threw in Wakefield it would mess up the batter’s timing so badly and they wouldn’t lock on to it for 2 or 3 innings. If you have lead you will be able to maintain that lead. I would greatly appreciate if you could respond to this e-mail and think about my suggestion. Thank you for reading this.
